Private Data Protector - Nowadays every computer stores dozens of documents in formats such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Rich Tech Format (*.rtf), Adobe PDF, etc. People use these documents for ordinary tasks such as sharing information, contractual arrangements, studying for school, printing, etc.
But what most people don't know is that software applications such as Microsoft Word capture and store information about you and your computer, without your explicit permission, when you edit these types of documents. Files contain information such as "author" probably your first and last name, the software application name, the creation and modification dates, the name of the company that owns the computer's operating system license, the document creator a person who first created this document, and even the so-called "manager" - which is the person who edited it, their title, etc.

The Private Data Protector utility scans your hard disk drive and reveals a list of all files containing this type of hidden information. You can then take control -- deleting the private data from as many files as you choose. We especially recommend that you use the Private Data Protector utility to "wash" your files before you send them out to third parties over the internet.
